Larry has led 20 tours to Egypt and has been highly rated by his tourists and fellow adventurers. As usual this adventure will take you to the major monuments and temples in Egypt, and also some places off the beaten path. There is always ongoing communication  with Larry and his guests, so weigh in if there is something you'd like added to the core itinerary listed below.

Wednesday, April 22. Arrival and Welcome Dinner. We will pick you up at the airport and take you to our hotel overlooking the Giza pyramids. Rest, relax until our evening welcome dinner. 

Thursday, April 23. The GEM and Great Pyramid private entry. Start your Egypt experience with a tour of the world's largest museum dedicated to one civilization, the GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum). We will also have our two hour private entrance into the Great Pyramid where the public is not given access. 
 

Friday, April 24. Sakkara and Dahshur.  At Sakkara, see and explore the mysterious pyramid of Unas, the Serapeum and the world's first pyramid, the Step Pyramid of Djoser. After lunch we will adventure to the large Red and Bent pyramids built by Sneferu, the father of Khufu, the pharaoh of the 

Great Pyramid. 

Saturday, April 25. Giza Plateau. We will visit the major 

Giza Pyramids up close, with a special entrance to the Pyramid of Menkaure. Other sites of interest not included in most tours will be the Causeway of the Great Pyramid and its underpass, the Trial Passages, the Sacred Shaft and Circle, and the Tombs of the Builders.

Sunday, April 26. Fly to Luxor, visit Dendera. We will take an early domestic flight south to Luxor where we are offering an optional excursion to the Temple of Hathor at Dendera.
 

Monday, April 27. Optional early morning Hot Air Balloon ride. Vαlley of the Kings. Visit the burial grounds and the beautifully decorated tombs of once-powerful Egyptian pharaohs, including the famous King Tut. Also tour the unique and atypical architecture of the Temple of Queen Hatshetsup

Tuesday, April 28. Luxor and Karnak Temples. The grandeur and brilliance of the architecture of the Luxor and Karnak Temples is majestic, overwhelming. 
 

Wednesday, April 29. Edfu and Kom Ombo. Enjoy cruising the NIle. We will treat you like you are Cleopatra! Listen to our experts clarify for you some of the mystery of the texts on the Edfu walls, and the oddity of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two different gods.
 

Thursday, April 30. We will do as many of these as we can, our tourists will have a say...  A visit to Elephantine Island and the Nubian Village, explore a large wonderful local market in Aswan where tourists seldom visit, see the lovely Isis Temple, and a special excursion to its original location, where few tours ever go, and where you will be able to swim in waters of the Nile, and take a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, which, if it had been erected, would have been the largest obelisk in Egypt. Larry will tell you of some of its secrets he deciphered.

Friday, May 1Fly back to Cairo for a free day to shop at Khan el Kalili, explore the Cairo Museum or visit Old Cairo. We will have an informal farewell dinner in the evening. 
 

Sunday, May 3. Departure. You will be at an airport hotel, for a no stress departure from the Land of Mystery.
